Our client has a requirement for notification and validation messaging that appears in the same position on the window regardless of scroll position.
Is there a way to implement a component (possibly a header/footer) that appears independently of the page scroll state?
I.e If I have an interface that is 2 screen heights in length, I will see the component in the same position regardless of if I am at the top of the interface or the bottom of the interface

In 20.1 there are two new features. The record action component and the ability to open related actions in a Dialog

When using a!formLayout() on an, when the interface is used in a related action or list action which opens in a dialog, the header label and button footers are fixed. Using required fields and form validations, https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/20.1/Validation_Message.html you can ensure the messages are always visible to the end user.
Unfortunately, the client requirements for a scroll locked component require more flexibility than the form header and button fields. In addition, the requirement applies across dashboards as well as forms so we cannot guarantee the end user will interact with the form as a dialog style record action.
Validation messages in form layouts are not scroll independent and do not satisfy the client requirement.
