Need to increment the serial number in a editable grid when a new row is added

Hi,

I am implementing add row function is editable grid, the data to the grid is passed via an expression rule where the values are hard coded. There are 17 items in the grid which are hard coded [all values are hard coded] , i need to allow user to add a new row with incremented serial number i.e., 18.

Can anyone help with the procedure how to implement this.
