Display Branding Logo and Favicon in a site or Interface

Is anyone aware of a way to reference the Logo and Favicon defined within the Branding section of the Admin Console within a site and/or interface?

I know I can upload copies of those to a folder in the System Knowledge Centre and reference them from there but that seemed like duplication to me so was hopeful I could reference the ones already uploaded (or perhaps add them to the System Knowledge Centre and then reference those from the Branding page so there was only one copy).

I've never been able to find any way to reference such objects provided directly in the Admin Console.  Similarly it's a little frustrating that we can't set certain items in the Admin Console to reference expressionable logic, since it would make certain things a lot more streamlined.  (I assume the reason for this is due to how far disconnected the Admin Console is when it comes to exporting/importing between environments.  But still it's a little painful sometimes.)
