Hi All,
Here is my requiremnt
Need to hide a section when date field is null or has no value
Need to show the section when date field have some value
For this,
I have kept a change event rule on date, which will take the date value and hide or show section accordingly.
But surprisingly change event does not trigger for FIRST CHANGE of date value.
the event is getting triggered with second time change.
Please tell me, how can i make the event trigger on first change of date value....

Are you using SAIL? If not, can you use on click to trigger the JS functions?

A text field can be used in place of a date field when non-standard formatting is desired. Have you considered using a text field with the parameter refreshAfter:UNFOCUS ?

Or, better yet, a simple example from Recipe page:

jorgea, robert and mike, its not a SAIL component, it is just an ordinary Date component.
Jorgea, Date does not have click in it, it has only change.
