I have a date component in editable grid and on that i an using validation to check if same data exist in DB for a country when user changes the existing date in grid.
After changing i am seeing that all date component in the entire grid is getting validation message rather the one updated .
Any idea why ?

You're probably applying your validation rule to the validations parameter of the grid instead of using the particular row. It's hard to help you more without actually seeing your SAIL code. Please include it so that it's easier to help you
