Hello All,
As per the link https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/21.2/Custom_Mobile_Applications.html, it seems that Appian Provide Custom Mobile development. Where can we get more information regarding how to develop a custom mobile applications. Does Appian provide some IDE and SDK for custom mobile application development.
I am aware of the fact that applications created on the web using the Appian Designer platform can be view on Appian App available on Play Store, but what about if some want to create the only app for Mobile applications.
Additionally, can we create our own apk and IPA for Android and iPhone, later can we publish this to app stores.

Hi navneetg0002,
The link that you provided has most of the answers to your questions. On submitting the required details, Appian will provide you the apk/ipa file which you can publish to public/enterprise users.
Also keep in mind that the development of functionality for your application is still done in the Appian designer, so there isn't an IDE or SDK. The main purpose of the custom mobile application is that you can package the branding you want to expose as a mobile app and access whatever Appian applications you developed in the Appian Designer
So when we will do some any changes/updates to our Appian app (on browsers), will the changes be automatically applied to the android App or we will need to resubmit to Appian for a new APK?
I am not able to find a detailed and complete process anywhere.
The Appian Mobile application is just the container. The actual application UI, logic and processes are run on the Appian environment.
Thanks Stefan, my question was regarding the custom mobile app not the Appian App that we use to run the Appian applications. Does this holds true for that as well?
Changes to the mobile application itself are not automatically applied. I am not aware of the exact details of the process and suggest to contact Appian.
Thanks
