I created a group and I have two interfaces where only the members in that group can see and make any approvals. Any suggestions?

You can add security for those interfaces and related process models so that only the specific group users can work upon it.
For better understanding of configuring security for interfaces you can check the documentation here.
This kind of security is not set on an interface level, but on the level of process, site, related action. Another option is to have a showWhen condition checking for group membership.
What do you want to achieve?
Here when a user access the site he should only see the home page not the approval page but when an approver from that group access the site he has to see both the pages
OK. You do not write about whether that works or not. What did you test? Which types of users did you test with? Results?
I added few members to the approval group and then tested out using the ids of members not in the approver group. It is not working.
When I log in (as a member of the approval group) I can see both the pages on the site which I should see.
But coming to when i login( as a non member of the approval group) I can still see the home page and the approval page on the site
Are you a system administrator? System administrators can still see all tabs in the site even if they aren't in the designated group.
Yes .
But i tired with basic user also but here it is not showing site page application
Do you mean that your basic users do no see the site at all? Then you might want to check the security setup of your site object.
Making users sys admins is ABSOLUTELY NOT the way to go.
No, I didn't change users sys admin but I created a new user, and then using that I checked, so it was not displaying the site page itself.
