I want 2 lines in a confirmation box.
i tried char(10) & char(13) and \
etc. does not work.
when using \
, the letters \
appears in the message.
Any work around?

="WARNING \
\
Are you sure to submit?"
="WARNING" & char(10) & char(13) & "Are you sure to submit?"
...

Have you tried appending line break tag? ="WARNING Are you sure to submit?"

Sorry , Tempo forms does not work shows and in debug mode portal/apps form works . considering tempo and mobile i guess does not work. Please let me know if any other ways to try. Attached image.

No. Probably a fix in ext hotfix or release. Appian Product Enginners has to say that. One would assume either a or \
would work but not in this case.
