What kind of action is this? I am asking because this seems to be a use case for a submit in a user input task.
In Appian, you do not refresh a page, but the underlying data. Then you can display the interface according to the changed data.
i am not using any user input task in a process model.
I have just 2 cards in an interface working as a button on click of that i am calling a process model and saving the respective value in the database.
OK. Appian is using processes for this.
Is that a related action? Make the interface the start form of this process.
No its not an Related Action. I am using that interface as a Views in Record
OK. A view in a record is not meant to directly implement actions. If you "have" to go that way, call the model using a!startProcess, make sure to enable chaining up to the DB nodes, and then refresh the data using some a!save() in the onSuccess parameter.
Does that answer your question?
ya I am using a!startProcess only inside savinto of link
also I have enable activity chaining but i am not able to refresh the page
What does this mean in your case? Adding a few a!save() to the onSuccess parameter allows you to do any data refresh.
ok will try
