Hi everyone,
I'm on 21.3 and noticing that Section labels aren't being read out by a screen reader despite what the documentation seems to state: https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/21.3/ux_accessibility.html#use-accessible-headers
Using NVDA on Firefox.
Here is a sample of the code. Am I missing something?
a!sectionLayout( label: "Section 1", accessibilityText: "Section 1 Accessiblity Text", labelHeadingTag: "H2", divider: "ABOVE", dividerColor: "ACCENT", contents: { a!sectionLayout( label: "Field Set 1", accessibilityText: "Section 2 Accessiblity Text", labelHeadingTag: "H3", divider: "ABOVE", contents: { a!columnsLayout( columns: { a!columnLayout( contents: a!dropdownField( label: "Field 1", placeholder: "Placeholder", value: index(ri!formData.FORM_DATA_SECTION1, "field1", null), saveInto: ri!formData.FORM_DATA_SECTION1.field1, required: true ) ), a!columnLayout( contents: a!dropdownField( label: "Field 2 - Dropdown", placeholder: "Placeholder", choiceLabels: {"Choice 1", "Choice 2", "Choice 3"}, choiceValues: {"Choice 1", "Choice 2", "Choice 3"}, value: index(ri!formData.FORM_DATA_SECTION1, "field2", null), saveInto: ri!formData.FORM_DATA_SECTION1.field2, required: true ) ) }, spacing: "DENSE" ) } ) }, showWhen: if(isnull(ri!showWhen), true, ri!showWhen), )
Thanks,
Mat

If the screenreader is not reading section labels, I'd suggest opening a support case to have our team investigate.
