So the way the group picker filter works is you put a group in that filter and the picker shows any groups that are children of that group. Is there any way to also display that parent group as well? I'd like to show just the groups within a particular application so I'm using the application's all users group for the filter, but it doesn't show the all users group. I would rather not add some other group to put that all users group into if I can avoid it. Is there another option? If there's some other way to specify groups that are added to an application instead of the entire environment, I'd be open to that as well.

It looks like the Group Picker component only displays groups within the filter group, you will need to create another parent group for this.
I was afraid of that. I was trying to specifically avoid that as I don't really want a vestigial group sitting around doing nothing but containing the groups of my app.
You have to develop an inusual solution, i suggest to use a pickerFieldCustom component:
1. use the function groupMembers to retrieve childs from a parent.2. Merge Parent with childs in the datasubset.3. use pickerFieldCustom to make whatever you want.Let me know if it's clear.
It's clear. Ultimately configuring a custom picker field is a lot of hassle so I just went with a dropdown. I forgot dropdowns already have search built into them so it's basically the same thing with a lot less trouble.
