Hi all i have button layout and i am adding an additional button, with this one, when clicked, the button should go to external website, per say google.com. but a!buttonwidget doesn't have a link field. I found a workaround but that creates a linkfield that opens up once the button is click, the user than has to click the linkfield. but this is outside my acceptance criteria. once the button is clicked, it should go directly to the external website. Any ideas? Thanks.

This is not currently possible. You'll need to find some acceptable way to include a SafeLink in your design. As a general reminder, requirements should be considered as separate from design / style decisions. If your form can accomplish the desired end result, that would satisfy the requirement, regardless of particulars of the design (and design constraints like you've described here).
ok thanks, i thought as much.
Hi, As Mike said you can't configure link in a button but you can use card lay out to create something like a button and there you can configure safe link. I have used same in one of my projects.
You can use card layout , it will work same as button and you can also configure link there .
