Hi All,

We would like to add everyone's profile picture from Active Directory to Appian. We would like to do this automated, rather than having an administrator uploading photos through the designer interface manually. Does anyone have anything they can share that can achieve this or similar?

It seems there's no custom smart service to directly sync those images but the User Profile Picture Utilities plug-in will help you setting the picture for the user available for download here in Appian Forum under the "Shared Components" record (forum.appian.com/.../all) or using the direct link forum.appian.com/.../summary

You will basically just need to transmit the image from your AD to Appian; once it's there you can simply use the Uer Profile Picture Utilities plug-in to set the picture.

I'll let others comment on whether they have another utility to directly do this; otherwise maybe using the LDAP Sync source code as an example in combination with the Base64 Utilities one (so you get an example on how to create documents in Appian) can guide you.
