Functionality to run spell check for a form?

Hi Daniel, spell checking is primarily a feature of the browser. Currently there’s no way of running a spell checker in the forms. I've submitted an enhancement request with the reference AN-52268.

In IE10 spellcheck is on by default for text areas (misspelled words are underlined in red and <Shift>F10 displays alternatives). Spell check is off by default for text fields, however.

Question for Appian folks: what does it take to also turn on spell check for text fields? Basically set spellcheck attribute to true.

Spell checking is a browser feature, so depending of the browser you could have different results. Currently there’s no way to activate the spellcheck attribute in a SAIL component.

It is available by default on paragraphs/textareas, but not for text fields.

Any updates to whether spell check has been added to SAIL components?
