Appian Community and Appian Academy are being upgraded. As a part of the upgrade, Appian Community is currently in read-only mode, and user registration is disabled until August 3. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but a more secure, stable, and performant Community experience is coming soon!
The new Appian Community launches August 3, followed by Appian Academy on August 7. During the migration, Appian Community Edition, Appian Academy, Documentation, Certifications, Instructor-led Customer Training, Partner Sales Training & Accreditation, and Forum (for Appian Partners and Customers only) will remain available.
We have a requirement to make Encrypted Text Fields resize/expandable. Is there anyway we can achieve that?
Please suggest.
Thanks in advance!

Hi, what's the use case?
Hi Gabriele,
It is very difficult to read large texts entered into an encrypted field (more difficult when we have an encrypted text field in an editable grid). Just like the way we can resize a paragraph field or use attribute 'height' for better readability, We would like the same when entering inputs into an encryptedTextField.
Thank you.
Usually an encrypted text it's used for information that work like a text field. What are you trying to insert into the field it's necessary to be an encrypted field?
There is no way to enlarge the field more then a text field, but if i understand the use case better i may suggest something more specific
E.g. We have an encryptedField 'Overview' where users enter more than 3000 characters it is difficult to read.
