Hi all,

is there a way in appian to do validation for mobile forms?
like length check, etc.
Masking and Javascript validation are both not supported.

Hi,
You can create your forms using SAIL (if you are using v7.4). SAIL provides wide range of options for validations and dynamic form behaviour.

so before v7.4, there aren't any good ways for the validation?

Prior to SAIL the only way would be to validate using an OR gateway to loop back to the original form on validation errors.
Note - you can't loop back to the Start Form of a process
