We have a strict 30 minute session timeout policy, and want to show a countdown on our interfaces (dashboards and forms) warning users how much time they have left. While we can have a 30 minute timeout from load, this isn't accurate because they may keep the session active by navigating or interacting with SAIL components. Is there a way (out-of-the-box, plugin, or API) to show the user how much time they actually have left in their active session / how long since they have been active?

Yikes. I don't believe there's currently any solution other than potentially building your own plug-in to suit this case. And even then, since it's tied to user session data, i'm not sure it's even within the realm of information that even a plug-in could remotely gain access to, though I could be wrong about that.
