Hi,
I have a user interface with a read only grid at the bottom with a button "ADD" on top right corner of the interface.
Now, when the user clicks on "ADD" button, I would like to show the interface in a popup window, instead of showing in the same window.
How can I achieve this. Any suggestions please.

You can do that only by using a record action. Create a process model for your Add process and create a record action manually.
Once your record action is ready, Select the Open Actions in as Dialog Box.
You can use a record action field in your interface to call your record action.
