can we save xls file which we are getting from fileupload interface component to our local PC drive? can we do it without any process model ? if process model is required then how we can do it?

Appian does not have any access to your local drive and the only way to get files from/to Appian, is a user triggered file download or upload.
we can also create a webAPI where data is extracted into the CSV or excel for download which doesn't need any process model to download.
