Is it possible to put a!safeLink ( example in section nr.2) on confirmation of a!buttonWidget (section nr.1) so that after confirmation, link navigates back do desired location?
In my case back to Record list view. So that user after confirmation returns directly to list view, without having to click back on summary screen.

Did you try to make this process a record action of that record? This way it will automatically return to the record list when started using the record action field.
I was trying to avoid creating new process for this action. However it seems that is now inevitable, or I shall try to explore possible solution with record actions. Thanks!
A record action actually IS a process. That is the way how to do such things in Appian.
