Just a basic question about label names and what other companies are doing in their process. I have a label name that you would think would not be changing but I guess sometimes it does happen. I'm planning that in new processes we will use constants for label name, that way if they need to change, I only have to update the constants. Currently in one of my process I don't have those constants so I'm planning to make the change in the XML and upload back to Appian. Instead of me opening all the forms one by one and doing the change and probably forgetting some... using Dreamweaver, I can locate all the label name faster and make the change... Is that a good approach?...

  • Thanks for that information, but that's not what I mean. I have a label name in a form.. called Project for example. They want the label name in the form to be changed to Subject. Instead of me going into the designer to open each forms and change the "label" name. Would it be easier to extract the XML file, make the change in there using Dreamweaver (find/replace) and then rezip and send it back to Appian. I did a test with one, seems to work, but I want to make sure if it's a good approach or not.
