Open directly Task Form

Hi guys,

I have an integration in which we are sharing the user tasks in other system with a hyperlink in the ID, like this:

I have the requirement of give them the way of open directly the UI which display the task (TASK FORM) once the link is clicked.

In other frameworks sometimes we can use query parameters to customize the content being displayed, but I'm not sure how can we implement this, since appian use an encrypted value or generic value for task forms:

Someone can guide me or knows how to open a task form directly? in this case from outside?

NOTE: The users will be using SSO (OpenID) to login into our application.

Thanks in advance.

  • if you can access the task's Task Instance ID, it should still work to construct a link ending with "/task/[taskId]".  and functions like a!urlForTask() will do this for you automatically provided a task ID.

Then again i'm not really clear what you're asking - is something happening wrong when the users click the task link from externally?  as far as I know, that should cause Appian to open, authenticate (if needed) and then load the task in question.
