Export data from Readonly Grid to text file (.txt)

Question

Hi, 
 I was wondering if we can export the readonly grid to text file (.txt)? 
 any suggestion on the user interface and process model? 
 The current build in function can only export the data to excel.

Not directly, but you can utilize expression rules to format data how you would like and then create a TXT file using the Text Doc From Template Service .

Echoing Chris, the answer is yes as long as you're willing to build it manually, which shouldn't be hard - though simulating and/or formatting the text file so that readers can understand column delineation might be an issue. There is nothing automated to do this for you, though.
