Appian Community and Appian Academy are being upgraded. From July 24–August 3, the Appian Community will be in read-only mode. During this time, the site will be read-only and user registration will be disabled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but a more secure, stable, and performant Community experience is coming soon!
The new Appian Community launches August 3, followed by Appian Academy on August 7. During the migration, Appian Community Edition, Appian Academy, Documentation, Certifications, Instructor-led Customer Training, Partner Sales Training & Accreditation, and Forum (for Appian Partners and Customers only) will remain available.
Hi All,
Hope everyone is doing good..!!!,
we have a requirement to export the UI data into PDF document file along with text filelds and signature fields, Can anyone please let me know what would be the best approach to achieve this requirement.
I have tried using PDF from DOCX smart service to export the data into word document template and then tried to convert the same into PDF. But unfortunately I am able to capture the signatures as document Ids, not as signature images. Can someone please help us how to get the signature properly in PDF file.

Any specific reason why you are generating a docx and then converting it to PDF rather than just generating a PDF from the get go?
Hi Mathieu,
Than kyou for your response. Yes, actually we have a specific template format which we need to use to export the data. That is the reason we are doing this template based export.
