Limit to views in left hand side of tempo page?

That is correct. As of the current build, the number of views for a single record type is limited to 9. You could however accommodate the additional views by having multiple record types.

Is this limit configurable, or are there plans to increase it? I can foresee us easily hitting the limit, and we'd rather not have multiple record types where views would suffice (or having to use related actions to show a related dashboard as a form instead).

I have raised an Enhancement Request with Engineering to implement this feature in a future release (Reference no. AN-57485)
