We recently upgraded to version 7.8 and are having issues with our paging grids

We recently upgraded to version 7.8 and are having issues with our paging grids intermittently being unable to connect to the database to pull back information. We're receiving an expression evaluation error on our query rules. The issue will often go away if we close the task and open it back up.

Was there any change in 7.8 that may be causing this? Or has anyone seen similar issues?...

Attached is the error. I'll work on getting the app-server log.
