In a Paging Grid, is there a way to completely remove the sorting features?
Not passing a "pagingConfiguration" parameter to the rule "todatasubset" effectively removes the sorting, but the header in the Paging Grid is still selectable, that is, the cursor changes into a "hand", and the sorting arrows still appear.
Thanks!

Hi Orlando -
Have you reviewed the section with heading "Grid Showing Static Columns" in the sail recipes?
forum.appian.com/.../SAIL_Components.html
Perhaps this will help you with your goal.
This assumes you can consistently expect a relatively small batch size.

Hey Orlando,
There is no way to make a fully static grid using the gridField element (IE: removing the clickable cells at the top of the table). You have to rewrite the table using a!gridLayout to achieve the same effect (just make all the text fields read only and it will appear just like an a!gridField element)

Thanks Rob for the link. I reviewed that section and it does not disable the header behaviour.
Thanks Jin. I guess I have no choice but to use a gridLayout.
