I'm trying to hide controls using some jave code on the on click event on dropdown72: Here's what I have, but it does not seem to be working. Thoughts?

if ("YES".equalsIgnoreCase(window.FormAPI.getValue("dropdown72").id
)){window.FormAPI.hide("dropdown101");
window.FormAPI.hide("paragraph102");
} else {
window.FormAPI.show("dropdown101");
window.FormAPI.show("paragraph102");
}

There's no equalsIgnoreCase() method in JavScript, that's a Java method.

Instead simply create a convention, for example, if your dropdown can be on both uppercase and lowercase simply do:

if ((window.FormAPI.getValue("dropdown72").id).toLowerCase == "yes"){
window.FormAPI.hide("dropdown101");
window.FormAPI.hide("paragraph102");

} else {
window.FormAPI.show("dropdown101");
window.FormAPI.show("paragraph102");

}

or

if ((window.FormAPI.getValue("dropdown72").id).toUpperCase == "YES"){
window.FormAPI.hide("dropdown101");
window.FormAPI.hide("paragraph102");

} else {
window.FormAPI.show("dropdown101");
window.FormAPI.show("paragraph102");

}
