Does anyone know of any Appian applications that support digital signatures / e-signatures?

Does anyone know of any Appian applications that support digital signatures / e-signatures? In non-Appian applications I've seen that implement an e-Signature, the user is prompted to re-enter their ID and password and check a box that says "I know I'm signing a legal document" or some other disclaimer. Have you heard of anyone successfully doing this with Appian?

I'm doing some research on this subject at the moment and from what I've gathered it should be possible as long as the signature platform that you use provides a web service (SOAP or REST) that Appian can consume. However, you must consider the security concern/risk that comes with storing the credentials in process variables from the time you capture the credentials in the SAIL form to when you receive a response from the Web Service.
