Does Appian have the ability to incorporate disable text inside of a text box to function as the instructions? I've attached an image with an example of what I mean. For a text field, there would be text pre-populated in the box that disappears upon clicking in it.
Is this doable?

I don't believe that is supported by Appian; however, you could have an adjacent label on the text box to indicate the required input.

There's no good way of doing exactly what you describe, but the instructions attribute of a textField should be sufficient for this.

Yeah I know about the instructions, this was just one of those "can we do that?" request from a business user.
Thanks for the answers!

Does anyone know what Appian is using in their own forum code to accomplish this?
