Tempo cannot be embedded in an iFrame therefore it cannot be displayed inside the apps portal. Instead you may want to make Tempo your default environment by making sure this property is commented out or empty in custom.properties:
conf.suite.DEFAULT_ENVIRONMENT=
this way every time a user accesses your site using /suite, after logging in, Tempo will be displayed.

Thanks for that confirmation. I also tried to edit homepage by putting a web page channel, how ever it gives me an error: Appian UI does not support display within a frame. Can you share how to do your suggestion for cloud instances?, are you saying that if we do this, we will be redirected to Tempo?

As a best practice do not publish the URL of your sites in public Forums. I've removed the link from your comment.
Tempo is the default environment unless you've requested other thing. What I meant is that by default if your users access
mysite.appiancloud.com/suite
(without anything after suite), after logging in, the users will be redirected to Tempo (
mysite.appiancloud.com/.../tempo)
but if they explicitly request
mysite.appiancloud.com/.../apps
then they will remain in the Apps Portal. At this point the only option is to mark an application as the default application in the Appliations tab and add a page to this application telling the end user to go to Tempo instead, but this will be more like an informative message rather than forcing them to go there.

sorry for that,i forgot to delete our domain in the url.
also, thanks for the clarification.this is what exactly i did before - marking an application as default; I might use that option and give direct url for tempo and from there they can atleast go to task and applications.

one last question, can we change the appian logo at the right hand corner of the portal page? also is there a possibility that we can change/customize the look and feel of login form and change this to our clients logo instead?

For this type of questions your best friend would be the documentation. Forum has three great search features: The one in tempo which searches in this interface, the one on the top right corner in
forum.appian.com/.../apps
which searches in the documentation and in the Discussions (non-tempo posts) and the documentation which searches only inside itself (
forum.appian.com/.../)
. By typing the word logo you will find a result pointing to this page
forum.appian.com/.../Appian_Cloud_Web_Administration
where it's explained how you can change the logo in a Cloud site.
