@igorl I don't think this is possible yet. Just now I have gone through the
forum.appian.com/.../Appian_Release_Notes.html
, but didn't find any reference to the feature you have asked for.

You can use the bind() action currently to trigger data writes to services during a SAIL form interaction..
forum.appian.com/.../Evaluation_Functions.html
This allows you to create forms that write continuously to a backend service with each user interaction.. not a native "AutoSave".. but closes thing currently possible..

@vahluwaila The approach differs but the basic idea remains same. Instead of a service, you invoke a process model and currently this is viable by making use of startprocesswrite() which helps us invoking a process model when used in combination with bind(). And the triggered process thereby can be used to achieve the functionality desired by us.

I am looking for out of box feature of Appian to handle this use case. The startprocesswrite function is shared component in forum which client does not want to use.
