Hi,
I have a multi select drop down, and the drop down is disabled in the UI, but there are values for the same selected in the previous UI. Is there a way to disable the field yet show the selected values highlighted?

Hi Sumit,
How much i understood the requirement, if in the previous form the selected value is saved into a rule input, storing the ACP into a PV in the process and passing the same PV as parameter in the value attribute of the second form which has multi select dropdown then it shows the selected value highlighted in disabled format in second form.
Please find attached the snap shot of the second form.
Hope it helps!

@sumitp If you are making use of SAIL's multipleDropdownField component and your question is about highlighting the selected values apart from the default behavior exhibited by component when it is disabled, I don't think there is a way to change it.

Yes.. am using the sails multiselect dropdown and i have the values assigned to it but when the field is disabled, the selection is not shown but if for the same field I make the disable as false, it shows up the selection in blue. Am not sure what am I doing wrong or does the DD not show up the selected value if its disabled?

Is there any reason you need to display the values in a dropdown if it is disabled? An alternative approach could be that you could just display the selected values in a text field or other component.

May be you can give the selected values to be displayed in the Instructions of the disabled multi select dropdown. we had the similar case and did the same like showing the selected details in the instructions.

@sikhivahans -I have mapped all the values correct, as mentioned in my previous comment, things work fine if I make the same field disabled:false(), it shows the selected as blue but I have requirement to show the field as readOnly with the values selected in grey. I know there may be work around for the same but is it currently a limitation for the multi select drop down?
