As part of a requirement, end users upload a document which is temporarily store

As part of a requirement, end users upload a document which is temporarily stored in Appian documents repository and later moved to database using content management service. We are trying to retrieve , display and link the same document in a another SAIL form .
We are using image Field , document Image and safeLink components to achieve the functionality. We are able to successfully download the document from the link (through servlets ) but when we are trying to display the image of the document as an ICON or STANDARD size we see X mark rather than the image of the document.
Can someone please point out what could be the reason for this behavior ?
Attached the image of the imageField component displaying a X mark in the field.

Does this issue occur for basic users only? Then you might want to review the security of folder / KC where icons are being stored.

Hi Amitl,
I am not storing the documents in KC. The documents are stored in database outside Appian.

My issue got resolved. We must use webImage component and not documentImage component when we are trying to display the image from a URL and when not from Appian document repository.
