How is everyone displaying formatted error messages on mobile enabled forms?

I would like to display a colored message on a form which currently requires either a message or paragraph element. The message element isn't supported on mobile forms and the paragraph element adds too much padding to the messages even when the length is set to short. Is anyone using a different technique for displaying error messages on mobile enabled forms?...

  • To address your concerns:
    1. You can use show hide with multiple images under certain conditions
    2. Cannot speak to the significan amount of effort for this, as it would be addressed to your specific application.
    3. Colored text is not necessarily required, as context can be addressed through the message.
I understand this is not ideal, and Appian is doing it's best to make as much functionality mobile as they can. I assure you this is probably the best approach for your use case moving forward.
