Has anybody tested the limits of the Appian SAIL UI? It seems very limited in terms of its capability to do ajax / async applications. Is that true?

I think Appian is a compromise between flexibility, speed in development and multi plattform in a business environment. Pretty awesome what they achieve in my opinion. I have done my part of low level development in the past and do not miss it.
