Filter inline editable grid based on results of another grid

Good Afternoon,

If anyone out there can point me in the correct direction or help out.
On a process form I have a gridLayout populated from a!queryEntity. Each line in the gridLayout can be selected via a link field in each row.
Below that gridLayout I have an inline editable grid.(forum.appian.com/.../SAIL_Recipes.html
when a line is added to the inline editable grid some data is populated from the item selected in the gridLayout above it. One of the fields populated is specifically the ID field. The data is being populated so that each item in the gridLayout can have a relationship to multiple items in the inline editable grid. (one to many)

What I am wondering is if there is a way to filter the data in the inline editable grid based on the users selection in the gridLayout field.

@narasimhaadityac, thanks for your suggestion, though I'm not even sure in the code where i would use the wherecontains function I've attached my form if you have a moment to take a look at it. Though I did try in the applyComponents function at items and itemsToken.
