Upload .txt or .pdf files from mobile app

Hi All,
My requirement is that user should able to upload .txt or .pdf files from mobile app(Android). Accessing Appian via mobile browser works fine. But when user tried to upload txt or .pdf files from mobile app , Android app is offering the three options- Take a picture, Select a picture, Draw Signature. Any solution to overcome this problems.

Hi Arka,
You can try Jmeter UI for Appian.This makes file upload easier from mobile devices.

Extending the file upload component to address such use cases is on the product roadmap.

Dippoman,
Thanks for your quick response.We are using SAIL Forms. So we can not use JMeter File upload. Also JMeter is for performance testing tool and an end user is not supposed to upload file via JMeter.

Arka,

To close the loop. The 16.2 release of the Android app now allows you to upload any file (as long as you're on using version 4.4+ of the Android operating system)
