Form inputs disappearing intermittently

Not sure if others have seen this behavior. You have a form opened, you start entering information in a field. You go to another application (ex: Outlook) that is opened on your computer to look at something. When you come back to your browser which you didn't close, what you entered in your field is gone.

This doesn't happen all the time....

So it happens to my users in Portal. I've seen it happen actually in Tempo on this Appian Forum. I go to create a technical ticket, I start typing something in the paragraph of my ticket, then I switch to another application on my PC, and then I come back and it's gone. So I have to start typing again. It's not all the time so makes it difficult to reproduce.
