Use editable grid to edit nested CDT values

I have a nested CDT list that has an @OneToMany parent-child relationship. I'd like to use an editable grid to allow my users to edit the nested values, as in the Add/Delete and Update Items in a grid SAIL recipe.

Has anyone done this before? Anyone have an example.

I'm getting errors about not being able to reference a list, and the APN_isEmpty/APN_isBlank rules also kick out an error when applied to these nested items.

My challenge is really not with the grid, which is straightforward, it's with the nested CDT. But I think I have it figured out and may be able to post both a problem case and a solution case later.
