Can i use FormAPI.evaluateServerSideExpression (query rules) in populating pagin

Can i use FormAPI.evaluateServerSideExpression (query rules) in populating paging grid values? I want to make the form dynamic so whenever user select a particular date and time of day(dropdown) ,the paging grid will automatically change value based on selected values. Please help on how to achieve this. Thanks....

One of the ways is, on change of the time(dropdown) do a autosubmit of the form, and conditionally, redirect it back to the same form so that the paging grid gets refreshed with the new values for date and time..
I am assuming your query rule uses the date and time to gnerate data..
