Reassigning a task using a rule

What all the possible ways that a task, initially assigned to a group, gets reassigned to a member of the group.?? I am looking for any rules / something which can do this without anyone doing the reassign manually.

    @brian, escalation is not set in the UI. I was looking for if any system driven cause which may have assigned the task to a person in the group. Basically facing an issue where a task is assigned to a person in a group where the actual implementation is to assign the same to location. Process History suggested another user did this. But before confirming, i am checking if it was manually done or any other system behavior influenced this.
