We have a requirement to develop tree structure inside web portal. When I click on any item of the tree structure, the relevant data should display on the right side page if tree structure is on left side.

Can you point me to a way as to how we can achieve this functionality...

You can probably go for creating internal page link in the portal Home page. And replicate the same in all the linked pages so that you can access other pages from any of the linked pages.
