Email sent with "linktofolder()" works in our Dev environment, when the user gets the email in UAT or Prod the link produces a different address and therefore the user cannot open the folder.

What could be the cause of this? ...

This link is generated through SERVER_AND_PORT in custom.properties located under <APPIAN_HOME>\\ear\\suite.ear\\conf. Check the value of this property.
