Password Field in SAIL Forms

Hello Everyone!

We have a business requirement forcing users to re-authenticate while submitting all approval forms.

So far, we have been using the ‘Authenticated Form’ plugin where we envisage a link that navigates user to a portal form where they capture their credentials and system validates their password.

Business would like to know if there is a possibility to embed the username & password fields directly into the approval form designed using SAIL.

‘Encrypted text fields’ may not directly serve our purpose as we need to build additional authentication logic. Any ideas would be helpful.

Hey Preetam,

Here is a way you can think of solving this :- Use Encrypted Text field to capture information and then store the encrypted value in a local variable. Add a readonly blank text field where you decrypt the encrypted value captured and use your additional authentication logic. Let me know if this works.
