Overview

This course is an opportunity to go hands-on with Appian best practices around process design, database tweaking, expression writing, and user interface generation with an eye on fast performance. The course takes the topics previously taught through our advanced catalog (expressions, data design, process modeling, integrations, and UI) and blends them into a cohesive exercise-driven course of instruction.

Objectives

• Utilize Appian performance monitoring tools including Health Check, Rule Performance, and Monitor dashboards to identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Implement best practices for optimizing the speed of Appian user interfaces while retaining beautiful and impactful user experience.
• Practice optimization of queries for improving responsiveness and performance.
• Correctly utilize arrays and looping functions to minimize performance impact.
• Implement best practices for process model design and performance optimization.
