Public classroom courses are available to Appian Customers, Appian Partners, and independent practitioners. If you are interested in becoming a customer or partner, email email@example.com. The list of upcoming courses are available in the learning center on Community.
Academy Online is our free online learning platform available to anyone with an Appian Community account. If you don’t already have an account, register to join our Appian Community. Download these instructions for steps on how to register.
1. The Training Team reviews your enrollment request.2. You will receive an email from the Training Team informing you whether or not your enrollment was accepted. If your enrollment was accepted, you will then receive a link to submit payment (if paying by credit card).3. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with the class details and a Calendar invite including all of the information necessary to attend the class.

Your registration will typically be approved within two US business days.
After confirmation of payment, it can take up to two US business days to receive your confirmation email.
Most classes run from 9 AM to 5 PM (depending on the course time zone). However, the final day of class typically ends earlier to accommodate student and instructor travel schedules.
For the virtual remote courses, you will need a computer/laptop, a strong WiFi connection, and the ability to attend class all instructional sessions as well as complete all assigned work each day.
Additionally, before class begins, you may need to follow the instructions on how to "jump the queue" when requesting the set up of your Appian Community Edition (ACE) site, which is required as part of training.
To access your Appian Community Edition site, follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to the My Learning Journey page2. Sign into your Community account at the top right of the page3. Click “Get my site” on the right-hand side4. Select your Region5. For the question "Why Appian Community Edition" and select “I’m completing Appian training online or in person”

All self-paced, online training is available free of charge on Academy Online.

Classroom courses can be paid for through these payment methods:
1. Credit Card: Select this option to pay via credit card and you will receive a separate email with the link to pay via credit card after your enrollment is approved.2. Training Credits: Select this option if you have pre-paid for training via an order form.3. Partner Program: Select this option if your Partner organization receives free public training. If you are unsure if you receive free public training, please contact your partner executive.

Notification of enrollment cancellation must be sent to email@example.com at least two US business days prior to the start date of the class. If you do not show up for class and fail to provide adequate cancellation notice, the entire training fee for that class shall be forfeited. This policy applies to all accepted payment methods.
Note: Appian reserves the right to reschedule any class at its discretion. Appian also reserves the right to cancel a class at its discretion.

Academy Online offers self-paced courses for all levels of Appian knowledge, from leaders who need a quick overview of Appian to Lead Developers looking to stay up-to-date with the latest versions of Appian. Courses are often grouped into learning paths by topic or level. Academy Online courses can include video overviews, self-guided lessons, practice exercises, quizzes, and more!
You can always review the lessons in courses, even after you complete a course. You can return to courses you’ve completed by navigating to the My Courses on Academy Online, or by searching for the course title.
You can find a list of your online learning history by navigating to your Transcript on Academy Online.
You can find all of the certificates you’ve earned by navigating to your Transcript on Academy Online. Not all courses earn an Academy Online certificate upon completion. Most certificates are earned by completing all of the courses inside a particular learning path, such as our Appian Developer learning path.
