Appian recommends that the following steps are taken into consideration before performing the migration:

  • Start with a fresh install on the destination operating system (OS).
  • Follow the upgrade guide to migrate the files from the source to the destination OS.
  • Use the change-paths script to ensure that directory location is as expected.
  • Ensure that all the Appian services are running under the same OS.

Does Appian recommend any special instructions that need to be followed?
