KB-1950 Requesting an unsigned branded iOS Mobile Application fails with certificate mismatch error

Symptoms

After selecting "Process Uploads" to process the assets generated by the Appian Provisioner for an unsigned iOS build, the Mobile Branding application throws the following error:

The following issues were encountered:

Unexpected error: Invalid provisioner zip file.

The provisioning profile was signed with a certificate with serial '<CERTIFICATE_SERIAL>', which does not match the stored certificate's serial ''

The notification provisioning profile was signed with a certificate with serial '<CERTIFICATE_SERIAL>', which does not match the stored certificate's serial ''

Please create a support case and attach the provisioner zip file.

Cause

This issue is caused by a defect in versions 2.3 and older of the Appian Provisioner tool.

Action

Complete the following steps:

1. Download the latest version of the Appian Provisioner from the Appian Documentation.
2. Regenerate the assets using the latest Appian Provisioner.
3. Upload the new generated asset bundle and select "Process Uploads" again.
