KB-2076 Trailing underscores in filenames created by Text Doc from Template Smart Service

Symptoms

When a document is created using the Text Doc from Template Smart Service and the node's template file is not of type "Text Document," the document will be created correctly in Appian (correct content, filename, etc). However, after the file has been downloaded, it will have a trailing underscore in its filename (e.g. testfile.txt_ or testfile_.txt).

Cause

The smart service's template file is not of type .txt (aka "Text Document").

Action

Change the smart service's template file to be of type .txt.
